He has directed shows and site specific performances in Berlin, Helsinki, St. Petersburg, Opole, Montpellier, Bratislava and other important European cities.
His production, which has always been attentive to the landscape, unconventional staging, contamination with dance, music and poetry and, in recent years, also the use of digital in its various forms, has over time become more and more radically directed toward the research and experimentation of new languages capable of restoring to theater the ethical and transformative necessity that is historically its gravitational center. Starting with theater, he has specialized in urban and nature-based performance practices, immersive theater and site-specific performances.
He began to take a professional interest in very early childhood thanks to his meeting with Bruna Pellegrini and her theatrical project TEATRO GIOCO NIDO, an experience from which the show Sisale was born, presented at the Vimercate festival in 2007. It was the following year that she collaborated on a French project entitled Grandir a petits pas by the Amphiteathre of Pont De Claix in Grenoble. The project involved a period of theatrical research with children between the ages of 0 and 3 years and later the production of a show dedicated to them: Scatenati was born, which will have the good fortune to circulate in many international reviews and festivals. Since then, the work with and for very young children has declined into several theater productions including Buio, Nina e il mare and Corpo lib(e)ro, in co-production with other Sardinian realities, 3 PIGS Cosa è casa (all Campsirago Resi-denza productions) and Sig.ra Rossetta production of IsMascareddas. In 2018, as a result of a European master's degree on intergenerational learning, it develops a special focus on work with children aged 2 to 5 and the dependent elderly, including those with Alzheimer's disease. The course that emerges is named The Sky to Earth.

The work can be described as site-specific art/theatre in a socially engaged manner. Every site and every location has a history and specific features. The first focus lays on the people who ‘own' the environment. These people are the key to the specific stories, the conflicts, the celebrations, and ceremonies. With every new project, We start off as an outsider. Over the years we have developed a special approach to bridge this gap: Integrate and infiltrate. In this approach, they are working on a site and trying to find a (temporary) place in the community. By making use of the local artistic skills and fascinations, curiosity awakens.
The fascinations are often not ‘theatrical’ in an obvious way. Agriculture, landscape, food, nature, craftsmanship. Topics like these require a different kind of research for finding the stories which have a ‘theatrical' quality. Therefore, we doing research on people in a variety of professions. Sometimes we even learn the specific skills of those professions. We continuously keep confronting ourselves with the reality of their subjects, trying to find the ‘true’ stories. And we also keep developing new site-specific (artistic) methods, and new approaches to work with. We select the stories and materials allowing to create an event which is specific and universal at the same time. The Artwork / Theater works becomes an event where an audience without knowledge of the specific site can enjoy the experience.
